Art By: Devon Schlegel
Devon Schlegel is an abstract artist currently living in Jacksonville, Florida. In her career as an art therapist, Devon utilizes art-making with her clients to explore emotions, process trauma, and foster self expression. In her own artwork, Devon relies on texture and movement; combining patterns and symbols with thick, spontaneously applied layers of oil paint to explore her own memories, emotions and relationships. Devon has recently found herself inspired by the classic elements: earth, wind, fire, and water, and has been exploring them in her artwork.
